Event: Mambo de Chocobo Mingle Post

It starts on what should have been another ordinary day.

“Wark?”

You may be at the hotel, shopping in a store, eating out at a restaurant, or anywhere else in Edge. A large bird is looking at you. Or walking around the building. Or trying to eat some food anywhere it sees some.

There are more such birds. They come in many different colors. And they are everywhere, getting into everything.

Soon ads go up around town about the wayward chocobos. They escaped from some trucks and the truckers will pay to get them back. Time to load up on greens, bring a friend or two, and try to bring them in!

"Because that's just the way it is here," he said. "The ... other me told me about horses serving that purpose in his world. We have chocobos instead."

"No one is old enough to drive here either?"

He looked amused at that. "A lot are, and some have cars or motorcycles. But not everyone can afford them, and some prefer chocobos."

"And I prefer lots and lots of ice cream for every meal. And cake. But Nani says there wouldn't be enough food for everyone if I had all I wanted every meal..."

"Heh. I'm sure Nani is right." He looked a bit amused, but with an added softness the other Sephiroth might not have as much.

"Awwww, you grownups gotta stick together..."

"Well, that said, I don't suppose it would hurt to indulge every now and then."

Hojo never would have allowed it. But with Zack Sephiroth had learned to do things much differently, and had been much happier for it.

"That would be everyday," Sephiroth deadpanned.

Sephiroth wasn't surprised this time. "You're really quite clever, aren't you?" he remarked. "You know how to use word play to your advantage."

"He is," Sephiroth said fondly. "He was always coming up with new plans to brighten people's lives."

"Cool! Like making monster movies?"

Sephiroth chuckles at that. "I don't recall him doing that with me, at least, but he did take me to the movies a lot. Sometimes it was monster movies."

He blinks in surprise. "... Yes, I suppose I could," he says. "If any are playing." He has no idea what's out now.

"Have you seen some anyway?"

He would have to make sure such a film wasn't too gory, at least, before taking her.
