Event: Mambo de Chocobo Mingle Post

It starts on what should have been another ordinary day.

“Wark?”

You may be at the hotel, shopping in a store, eating out at a restaurant, or anywhere else in Edge. A large bird is looking at you. Or walking around the building. Or trying to eat some food anywhere it sees some.

There are more such birds. They come in many different colors. And they are everywhere, getting into everything.

Soon ads go up around town about the wayward chocobos. They escaped from some trucks and the truckers will pay to get them back. Time to load up on greens, bring a friend or two, and try to bring them in!

Whoa! Sora jumped out of the way of one of the.... whatever that was! Some kind of demon?! He wasn't sure. He settled into a defensive stance, watching it, hand on the hilts of his daggers, eyes narrowed, smile gone.

The brunet sounded and looked bored. He apparently wasn't bothered about the demon-thing.

"They're just big birds. They're not vicious. You can usually catch them with greens."

"Oh, okay." his stance relaxed and he gave a sheepish smile. "Guess I was overreacting then, huh? So... are they delicious?" If they are big birds that could be caught with greens...

Look, someone was used to not having much money and doing the best they could to make due.

“Never heard of anybody eating them,” he said. “They’re for riding.”

"They're... horses? Wow, those are expensive. Whoever lost them must really want them back. We should help!"

"Horses? ... Yeah, I guess they're like that."

He nodded. "I'm going to take back what I can. You want to help? I'll show you how to do it."

He took out some greens and held them where the chocobo could see. Then he threw them down nearby and waited. The chocobo soon came over to eat, warking in pleasure.

"Sure," he said. And he watched, then considered. "Wouldn't it be easier if you didn't drop the food?"
