Who: Pleakley and OTA
What: Arrival
Where: Edge
Warning: None at the moment, will change if something comes up
"Oh, gods, oh, gods, where am I? What's going on here? What happened, what's going on, what-- what--"
It doesn't take long for Pleakley to panic after winding up in Edge. The alien is an anxious mess at even the best times, and this situation is far from a good one. He pulls nervously at his short brown wig, grateful he was already in disguise when he got here.
"Jumba?! Nani?! ....Lilo?! Stitch?!" Pleakley calls out for his ohana, hoping any of them are here, but not expecting much. "Ohhh, this is a disaster, a complete disaster! This has to be Jumba's fault! He's going to be in so much trouble when I get home!!! ...If I get home."
Pleakley is freaking out. He gets more than a few strange glances thrown his way as he paces around and yells.
Pleakley is still a mess once he gets to the hotel. He doesn't even go to ask for a room immediately.
Instead, he sits down in the corner of the room and pulls out a strange device from a pocket on his dress. A red disk with a screen and one antenna sticking out. He pokes at the screen, frowning.
"Come on, come on, pick up... what do you mean, out of range? There shouldn't be a range! Maybe Glorknot's closer..." More tapping. "Oh, floozork darn it!"

Arrival (first come, first serve)
"Oh, gods, oh, gods, where am I? What's going on here? What happened, what's going on, what-- what--"

The Hotel (OTA)
Pleakley is still a mess once he gets to the hotel. He doesn't even go to ask for a room immediately.
Instead, he sits down in the corner of the room and pulls out a strange device from a pocket on his dress. A red disk with a screen and one antenna sticking out. He pokes at the screen, frowning.
"Come on, come on, pick up... what do you mean, out of range? There shouldn't be a range! Maybe Glorknot's closer..." More tapping. "Oh, floozork darn it!"

"You got pulled into this mess too, huh?"
no subject
"Yes! Yes, and I'm not supposed to be here, I'm supposed to be at home, but I'm not, I'm in this city! I'm not supposed to be in this city!! I don't even know what this city is!!!"

Pleakley is completely spiraling now. Sorry, Radley.
no subject
"The last time this happened to me, time stood still while I was gone," he says, speaking calmly and soothingly. "We don't know if that's the case this time, but I'm hoping. And ... well, it's possible some of your family is here. Sometimes multiple people get pulled from the same place. We could go check the hotel where a lot of us have been staying."
no subject
"Sorry, sorry, I'm a bit-" Pleakley pulls a hand off of Radley's sleeve with a sound like ripping velcro, and gestures vaguely. "It's all so overwhelming!! I've been involved with some pretty nasty things before, but usually that's just physical pain and psychological torment!!!" He lets out a nervous chuckle.
no subject
"... Those things aren't as bad for you as ending up in a new world?"
He would take being jamjarred any day over the other.
no subject
"Those things are undo-able! Then everything goes back to normal!!"

There's a long pause before Pleakley finally responds to the second half of what Radley is saying. "Not- not that level of psychological torment! But definitely some level of it! Uhh, so, uh... my name's Pleakley, what's yours?" Pleakley's introduction is clearly an incredibly awkward attempt to change the topic.
no subject
"Ah. Uh huh." He's fine with changing the topic. Probably a good idea. "I'm Radley."

The Hotel
"PLEAKLEY!!!!!!"
[Lilo was very happy.]
"You're here too now! Have you seen Jumba? Or Nani? Stitch and I can't find them. But there are lots of creatures here people keep calling monsters. Can you tell everyone that it is okay for me to go help them find their one true place? Cause they keep thinking I don't know what I'm doing..."
[She was still annoyed by that.]
"Oh! And there are Elvis CDs here! And they're not traps at all!"

This is even better. Pleakley puts his communicator back in his pocket and skitters over to Lilo. He picks her up in a hug, spinning her around.
"You're here! Are you okay?"
Eventually he puts her down. "I haven't seen the others... You're the first person I recognize!"
As for the whole monster thing...
"Wait, there are monsters here?! Lilo, I know you think you know what you're doing, but you should listen to what the people who already live here tell you! It's dangerous to go running into- into danger!! These aren't Jumba's creations we're talking about!"

"I know, I know, but remember Nani's rules for going out? Lilo, stick with Stitch. Jumba, protect Lilo like she's a precious treasure or delicate flower. Pleakley, only feed Lilo things you're completely sure are edible to humans." He recites this last bit, remembering the rules well. "Since Jumba's not here, I have to be the one to protect you! And I say stay away from monsters!"
Pleakley's scared that something bad will happen to Lilo, and he'll have to be the one to explain it to Nani.
"Besides," He explains, "with the experiments we had Jumba to tell us their strengths and weaknesses! We don't know those facts about the monsters here!"
